Welcome dear reader

My Gaming Journal is an attempt to chronicle my gaming experiences. In a sense I am trying to relive the memories from my childhood when I used to spend countless hours completely immersed into these beautiful interactive worlds. The site is dedicated to all games and it is my goal to archive these experiences into easy to access memories full of extraordinary moments. So what you will find among these pages is basically a gamer's diary of a sorts where I write personal stories and opinions about games I play. From time to time I will also write articles and reviews, but for the most part I want to keep it personal and intimite.

I tend to enjoy old games, which means that I will probably write about classical and sometimes just plain obscure games. I do try to wet my apetite with some of the newer titles from time to time, but even then I mostly play Indy games which cater to old-school design values. When it comes to modern triple A games, I have practically given up on big developers creating anything of value anytime soon. That is why you should also expect some rants about critically acclaimed games which I think are horrible.

I really hope that this site will help you broaden your gaming horizons as well as help you understand gamers as people.
